A national initiative of the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, National Memory Screening Day is a collaborative effort by organizations and health care professionals across the country to promote awareness and early detection of memory impairments. Free memory screenings are provided annually annually each November at hundreds of sites throughout the U.S., with the goal of helping people identify initial signs of memory disorders and seek medical care to address potential problems.
