The Alzheimer's Foundation of America is a non-profit foundation comprised of member and associate member organizations across the U.S. dedicated to meeting the educational, social and emotional needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses, and their families and caregivers. Excellence in Care
Excellence in Care is a nationwide standard of excellence in care for dementia care settings developed by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. The program offers the opportunity for facilities to ensure that their dementia care settings meet the optimal care needs of their residents/clients, and consists of a comprehensive on-site evaluation and consultation on strategies to achieve the established standards for quality of care and to sustain performance.
