Alzheimer's Foundation Names New Marketing Director
NEW YORK, NY—The Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) has appointed Josie Di Chiara of Hoboken, NJ as director of marketing, with the primary responsibility of spearheading strategic marketing campaigns for the national nonprofit organization.
In this role, Di Chiara will develop and execute sales and marketing plans for AFA Care Quarterly™ , AFA's quarterly consumer magazine that is the only publication of its kind specifically for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses. The year-old, free magazine recently underwent a name and design change, premiering as AFA Care Quarterly™ this month.
Di Chiara will also orchestrate brand marketing activities, and promotional and corporate sponsorship campaigns for AFA.
Di Chiara joins AFA after extensive brand marketing, event planning and product development experience in the publishing, entertainment and hospitality industries. Previous positions included marketing posts at BMG Entertainment and Allegro Corporation.
AFA, based in New York City, unites hundreds of member organizations across North America that focus on the care needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses, and their families.
