Alzheimer's Foundation Names New Director of Public Policy

NEW YORK, NY—The Alzheimer's Foundation of America (AFA) has appointed Susan Peschin of Rockville, MD as director of public policy, with the primary responsibility of spearheading the national organization's advocacy and legislative efforts.

In this role, she will develop public policy initiatives, provide strategic guidance on regulatory and legislative issues at the federal and state levels, and serve as AFA's liaison to public officials.

Peschin joins AFA after extensive experience in government relations, including operating her own consulting company and holding positions at The Sheridan Group, the Consumer Federation of America, Hadassah, and the Violence Policy Center.

Peschin has a Master of Health Science in Health Policy from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
